“Facing our Time”: To be a journalist in Ethiopia

The Night of Ideas is a global event that will take place on January 31st, 2019 (www.lanuitdesidees.com/en/about/). On this occasion the CFEE will organize at the Alliance Ethio-Française a debate and an exhibition entitled “Facing our Time: To be a journalist in Ethiopia”.
The debate hosted by Emeline Wuilbercq (Le Monde), will feature several journalists working in Ethiopia including Tamrat Gebregiorgis (Fortune), Befekadu Hailu (Addis Maleda), Paul Schemm (The Washington Post) and Yared Tsegaye (Addis Standard).
On this occasion we will present historic front pages from the press archives of the CFEE.
